Suomi24 Discussion Club starts at 29.11.2024

Suomi24 is an online Finnish discussion club designed for non-native speakers to practice their Finnish language skills in a casual setting with peers. The primary objective is to establish a continuous discussion group that is committed to enhancing their Finnish conversational abilities. It does not matter if you are new in Finland or have lived in Finland for many years.  Your finnish skills needs continous improvement.

The pilot program will commence on Friday, November 29, 2024, and run until December 5, 2024, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. Participation is free to begin with, but you need to register, before joining at this page: https://foreignersinfinland.yhdistysavain.fi/tapahtumat/

Be on time and be sure to have camera and sounds ready.

The faciliators of the discussion group are not professional Finnish language teachers. This is a hobby-oriented initiative.

Participants will be asked to contribute a support member fee of €10, payable via MobilePay at 739KT. This group will continue to meet until the end of December (week 51).

The discussion groups will be formed depending on participants' levels of conversational competence. Additionally, we aim to gather insights on how to further develop and improve the discussion group to better serve the international community.
