Discover Lohja & Loppi by car
Updated: Sep 29, 2022
Want to see Finland in all of its beauty? Or do you need a car to move flexibly for work or study? With renting a car, you don't have to pay for expensive public transport tickets and watch the clock when the bus or train ticket expires. This is also a good option if you've always had the burning desire to travel and want to go on beach holidays but can't afford it.
Here are a few places 100 km within a radius of Helsinki worth seeing. Every couple of months, we'll introduce you to the magnificent sites of Finland, and today we're visiting Lohja.
Tytyri elämys kaivos (The experience mining in Lohja)
If you want to try the Kone's (Finnish fastest high-tech elevator company) adventure travel using the latest lift technology, about 10 meters per second and 100 meters below the ground, you must visit the place. Magnificent lights, rich sound, and lift design take the visitors on an imaginary journey, and finally, to a 110m deep adventure mine.
Iso-Melkutin lake in Loppi
Did you know that Finland has a lake which is a popular destination for divers because it is so clear that you can see it to a depth of 7 meters? Welcome to Lake Iso-Melkutin. Camping is also possible here, however, please note of the permitted camping sites and the probable forest fire warnings and related instructions. In Loppi, which is quite near to Lohja, there's also a great, almost private, beach.
Räyskälän kauppa in Loppi
Come and visit this sympathetic little shop if you are passing by, staying in a tent, or enjoying the city and booking a couple of days in Loppi or Lohja with *Lomarengas. There are not many of these family shops anymore, and they have almost everything you need for a quick emergency. If you can't find it here, you probably don't need it ;)
Lohjan Pyhan Laurin Kirkko (the Church of St Lawrence Lohja)
If you're passionate about architecture or old churches, there is also one in Lohja.
Wherever you go, if you want to save your time and check all prices from Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Alamo, Thrifty, Budget, Enterprise, and many more, you can find them all under one roof. And if you're looking for a rental car with no hidden costs, no booking fees, and free cancellation, you've come to the right place.
On this map, you can find the addresses and time that you need for this trip and or you can easily find them in Google Map by the finish name of the place.
So, if you have free three hours or perhaps the whole weekend, and you want to experience something new and exciting, take an adventure and rent a car and head there.
Have a lovely, unforgettable, and safe trip!
