Delicious cheese cake

Cheesecakes are one of the most delicious desserts on every party occasion in Finland. It is a special occasion treat that celebrates spring. Making the dessert takes time, but it's worth the effort!


Crust:

200 g digestive biscuits

100 g butter


Filling:

400 g cream cheese

200 g plain yogurt

2 dl sugar

4 gelatin sheets

1 can of mango piltti (babyfood)


Topping:

Chocolate eggs

little decor chicks



Instructions:


  1. Crush the digestive biscuits and mix them with melted butter.

  2. Press the mixture onto a springform pan lined with parchment paper.

  3. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for about 10 minutes.

  4. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until it becomes a fluffy mixture.

  5. Add the plain yogurt and mix well.

  6. Heat piltti in a saucepan to a boiling point and mix the soaked gelatin sheets.

  7. Pour the piltti and gelatin mixture while stirring constantly.

  8. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.

  9. Decorate with chocolate eggs and unbeatable decor chicks for a tasty spring cake.
